It’s easy to mock the stupid comment about child free privilege but it’s so problematic. Forced sterilization is within living memory, and women are still in some places (including the USA) forced to carry unwanted pregnancies. Forgetting those things is a form of privilege.On twitter.com

I am sure it’s hard to parent during a pandemic, and I am very thankful I rarely encounter any children let alone take care of any. But the concept of privilege is not a catch all for whatever is causing you stress; it’s an expression of structural inequity.Permalink On twitter.com
