willmanduffy skamille Whilst I worry about small businesses in this time (shop local!) there’s a pandemic payment of ~350 euro a week for everyone effected. It’s not a huge amount, but people are able to get buy and banks are under pressure to accommodate.Permalink On twitter.com

willmanduffy skamille IMO a huge part of the problem in the US (& the UK and elsewhere) is an individualistic society, & this “YOU are the problem” thing is also that. Collectivist countries (Asia, Ireland has tried to take this approach) understand that addressing a pandemic is largely structural.Permalink On twitter.com

willmanduffy skamille We’ve been in lockdown for ~3 weeks which sucks, constrained to a 5km radius. But in a county of ~6.5m we are at 300-400 cases per day, and we will be released again when we are back to the 50-100 range, plan is December 1.Permalink On twitter.com
