  28. Weird to see this on day I went to therapy for the first time in years. She said I processed/discussed things in a very matter of fact way & seemed disconnected from my emotions. I thought “I guess we’ll get to the time I spent in environments when I wasn’t allowed to have any”.

  35. I didn’t think we would get into it that much, actually I didn’t think I had that much to say. We ended up having to do a second phone call and getting into it was traumatic, getting the fact checking email was like _woah_. It took me a week to even read it.

  48. Snark aside, this isn’t a terrible measure but simplistic measures encode deep assumptions that do not work for all users. So much of the way we build software rests on assumptions, & we persist in these metrics even as we begin to acknowledge assumptions aren’t serving us well.
