Like a guy told me I was doing it wrong, once I'd nearly finished, "here's some code I wrote 2 years ago, so that is actually the right way"

It was what I had researched and was doing. Of course. But he thought code he'd written 2 years ago more relevant than my work at the time.

Does these things happen to dudes? Someone once pointed out to me that we don't know what /is/ gendered, what do we just accept as normal?
