        1. One of the reasons I love client dev work is because empathy is part of our job. Why wouldn't we extend that beyond the user, to each other?

        Even more radically, extend it to ourselves. E.g. no blame, address processes after failure. Because blame is the antithesis of empathy.

      It's a pyramid. Empathy for ourselves, prioritize self-care. Empathy for each other, a functional team. Empathy for users, a good product.

    Can you have the product without he other things? Idk, I have never seen it. Devs that treat each other badly tend to treat users badly too.
