When I write about management I do so from this perspective of being a woman in tech. Eg catehuston.com/blog/2016/02/24/thankless-emotional-labour-as-management-training/ catehuston.com/blog/2016/04/07/that-remote-work-think-piece-has-some-glaring-omissions/

And it's really jarring to me how in certain places this makes it "niche", is left out, when they regularly share Advice for White Men.
-
1) women half the population, so not niche. We can learn so much from other perspectives, been a bit benefit to me of international career.
-
2) if you want more women in leadership positions then those of us who have leadership positions sharing what that's like is helpful.
-
Anyway there are a few things I watch where I notice they make an effort to include content by women AS LONG AS IT'S NOT ABOUT BEING WOMEN.
-
My point: I think that content is relevant more broadly than to women. And also: how are they doing on other metrics of including diversity?
