As a cis able bodied white woman I can tell you that a lot of conversations around trans or race or disability are not comfortable for me. But sitting with that discomfort and understanding it is part of the work.

In these moments you can feel however you feel as long as you recognize that it’s not on people who are already marginalized to make you feel better. It’s on you. If you must take those feels somewhere take them to your therapist. Or another privileged friend.
