      1. The thing that makes me most depressed about our inability to progress on inclusion is how much of inclusion is just being a decent person and making (relatively small) efforts towards fairness.

      We have some heroes of inclusion who pushed great progress at great personal cost but seriously the progress that could be made if we all just showed up to work each day and treated our colleagues (and potential colleagues) with kindness and respect? Would be immense.

    Managers and HR would need to model and encourage and - ultimately - enforce this though. Fellow managers: this is hard but also your fucking job. Get what you need together in order to do it. I believe in your capacity. HR, not gonna lie, I’ve given up on y’all helping here.
